The Hoven Apartments is a 8-unit apartment building featuring one-bedroom Loft Styled apartment units. Built in 1969 by the Architect George C. Oistad. The style was contemporary and the name Hoven means home. the Hoven Apartments are a great example of 1960’s Contemporary architecture with a focus on function. Most units feature built in adjustable bookcases for endless display options in the main living area. Large walls invite art and many of the tenants love to open feel and well-designed layout of the apartments. The attractive landscaping and abundant onsite parking (one stall per unit) make the building even more appealing in the University District which is notoriously short on reserved parking. The building features a ground floor laundry room and building storage lockers. The building provides good access to local amenities in The University District to the West, the University Village to the East, and Greenlake to the North.
